Hotels in Rome

Rome is an ancient city, with relics having witnessed
more than two thousand years of history. You can spend a
month at Rome and you will only scratch the surface of the life there.
There is so much to see, taste, feel, appreciate, admire.
The entire city is like an enormous open-air museum. There are
timeless ruins and neoteric Rome hotels. Rome inspires
the tourists spiritually and in such a way that they keep returning
to the Italian capital for even more cultural experiences.

Accommodation is lavish and well suitable for cardinals and
parliament members. In Rome hotels you get bright,
quiet design, and lovely gardens, swimming pools,
five-star restaurants, free car services, finishes of luxury,
widescreen TVs, and breakfast served on bone porcelain.
In the grand aristocratic residences there is handmade walnut furniture
and marble bathrooms. Rooms are furnished with artistic taste,
restaurants offer dinners by candlelight. There are free parkings!
You can choose a hotel with a view of the
Pantheon or the entire city from the roof. You can enjoy your
breakfast on the terrace. There are amazing Baroque spiral staircases,
antique iron beds, contemporary art on
 the walls and lovely gardens.

Hotels in Rome

If you are merry and rich – there is a hotel much preferred by
movie stars and wealthy travelers – the most famous
suite there costs 9000 Euro per night. You can delight in the enticing spa,
a lovely terraced garden and a number of airs and graces catered to the guests.
There are hotels in which no two rooms are alike, with bars
that can accommodate hundreds of tourists. There is a hotel which once
was a theatre: Teatro Delle Dame – because it is where
women were allowed to act for the first time. You can come upon
inviting lobbies and fireplaces that blaze in winter,
or merry little restaurants with reasonable prices.

If you wish to familiarize with the Italian spirit – there is a short
animation motion picture by Bruno Bozzetto,
who compares the Italians with other Europeans by exploring
their traditional behavior in a number of comic situations.

Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the Italian people
is their attitude to coffee: everywhere else
in Europe it is plain “coffee” while in Roman hotels you get:
Espresso Macchiato Caldo, Decaffeinato Borghetti Latte,
Gran Caffe Speciale and many many more…

Rome is doubtlessly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
It wasn’t built in a day and its sights can’t be seen in a day either.
It is recommended that you stay in a hotel in Rome from which you walk
out and enter the heart of the city. Fair fountains
adore Rome’s most beautiful squares – the Romans hold something
special for fountains. What most attracts
tourists is that behind every fountain, building or attraction,
there is a story, a legend, a tradition.
People want to learn Rome by heart. Chaotic,
yet elegant and creative, ancient and soulful, majestic and capital,
beloved and affluent, affable and sumptuous
Rome is an amazing work of art!

Manhattan hotels

With 250 different languages spoken in New York, it could be a
serious agenda to find the “right” way of saying something.
If you order a regular coffee here it is served with milk and sugar.
New York breeds individualists of all kinds,
because it is itself an eccentric city. If New York was a lady she
would fuss about with a Prada bag, she would be
wearing a pink tiara and she would bitch about everything. If New
York was a man his wallet would smell nicely of crocodile
leather, he would be wearing an expensive watch, and he would repeat
the entire time like the White Rabbit: “Sorry, I’m late!”
in a composed and polite way, while sneaking about you.

New York has more than 60,000 hotel rooms – enough to
accommodate the whole Laredo of Texas. However,
90% of them are usually occupied, and in holidays
the percentage rises to 105%. So unless you want to spend the
vacation under some bench in the park – plan your stay.

  Manhattan hotels
Manhattan hotels

There are spacious rooms, king-size beds and charming Italian spirit,
for the perfect love escapade. There are suites with a fireplace
and a terrace, to rekindle your flames.
There are rooms filled with antiques and gay friendly accommodation.
In some rooms, the walls, the ceiling and the doors are playfully decorated.
The Manhattan hotels abound with cherubic attendants,
charming and diverting, yet impeccably professional.

Generations of bohemians have left a trace in Manhattan’s hotels.
Trendy coffee shops, live jazz clubs, romantic restaurants prevail in Manhattan.
There you can find the hip and vogue crowd, and you might run
into your favorite celebrity on the verge of a nervous crisis.
You can dine and dance at a grand hotel ballroom.
There are places in which the high tea is perfectly English,
and you can people-watch like a Parisian sipping a cocktail on the terrace,
looking at the frenzy, tourist flow. There are pools,
beauty salons, body and skin care, massage and facial service,
sauna and they aren’t bad at all.

The best way to experience Manhattan is by walking – it is legendary
with its traffic jam and costly parking.
The Upper East Side is the hip place – with the brunches
that gather the elite together, where all gossips are born.
The Upper West Side can be considered as the capital of New York,
it is exceptional in culture – you can watch Shakespeare’s
plays in the park. Harlem is a historical center of African American culture,
it is known for iconic jazz, theaters and restaurants.
There is a cocktail named Manhattan – the earliest printed recipe
for it was published in a 1884 press release
and it comes with two versions – with French and Italian vermouth.
Before you leave Manhattan, you should experience
coffee served in an Anthora cup – a blue plastic cup with an inscription
that says: “We are happy to serve you!” You should definitely try
every burger that you can find, and every
pizza at least twice and a cup of frozen chocolate.

Monterey hotels

The most perfect beaches in the world are in California.
Monterey Bay is one of the most notable places
where land meets the ocean, and you will totally love it!
The grass near Mc Way Falls looks like it’s sprinkled with sweet,
young, pink flowers – a most idyllic landscape.
There are wise seals in the harbor, brave sea lions and wily
sea otters on the beach, and when you stroll the streets you feel like an
enlightened person. One of the oldest and longest jazz
festivals in the world is held in Monterey. It used to be the capital of California
and the place of the first California State Constitution.

You will feel wonderfully good in Monterey. You will enjoy the beach,
the water, the delicious food, the atmosphere.
There is something for everyone in Monterey: adults feel the
ocean is very pretty and kids love the animals.  You should look at the
tide pool, then look at the stars, and then back
to the tide pool again. The wild life, flora and fauna are captivating.
The colors are so bold, such purple sunset behind the
colorful clouds, such green and soft the grass, such grey and lovable ocean,
the purplest purple, the greenest green, the greyest grey.
 The sun reflections adorn the ocean. In the centre, night is illuminated;
on the beach bonfires are lit. You can go sailing the ocean,
or fishing at the Bay. You can sit on the terrace of your Monterey hotel,
together with your companion, both of you wearing
cotton blue pajamas, with your legs upon the parapet,
drinking hot coffee and just enjoying the view of Monterey’s morning in the park.

  Monterey hotels

Hotel rates are high in California. The hotels are in
exceptionally beautiful and agreeable buildings, most of which look
like Barbie’s houses. In the pet-friendly hotels of Monterey,
you can walk your pet with a strap upon the white carpet on the stairs.
You can marry with a hot, pink roses bouquet at the
hotel fountain, a ceremony with an ocean view. You can pamper yourself
with a massage for individuals or couples. Some of the hotels have
this amazing modern vibe and serve
innovative Californian cuisine. There is a free trolley that takes
the guests for a drive from downtown to
Cannery Row and the Bay Aquarium.

If Monterey was a lady she would be a blond country girl,
covered with a golden beach scarf with
black garters and a top-hat, she would be waving a lasso,
and riding a green horse. This city is appealing to the senses in
the warmest American way. Monterey people are very nice.
The whole city feels like a friendly, responsive neighborhood, due to
the gracious multi-colored attractions and houses that look like they are
designed by visionaries, to express the perky
grace of America. As if every citizen of this city has expressed
their soul by designing a comfortable home,
and Monterey hotels are just as appealing.
California spirit is captured in Monterey’s designs.

Ka’anapali Beach hotel

Welcome to the realm of colors! The Hawaiian landscape
displays the warmest blend of bright colors: azure for the sea,
and lapis lazuli for the sky. And where the sea
and sky touch each other, there are white clouds and green
algae swimming near a beach of bright yellow sand, where waves
are crashing and turning into white foam. The Hawaiian
beach is feast for the eyes, incredibly relaxing and beautiful like a painter’s
composition. You can hear the summer sounds of a guitar,
and feel the soft breeze in your hair, on the beach, some of it naked,
some of it crowded, all of it pleasing the eye and smelling of ocean.

In Maui there is a fantastic resort called Ka’anapali.
The sign of the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel is situated at the feet
of a large and merry wooden idol. The hotel will welcome you like
an old friend and it will greet you with a hula show – the Hawaiian traditional dance,
which is spiritually related to the ancient Hawaiian religion.
You will love the peach colored sand in harmony with the tropical blue of the ocean.

  Ka'anapali Beach hotel
Ka’anapali Beach hotel

Ka’anapali is a famous special events location.
When the groom tosses away the white veil and kisses the bride,
to claim her, all the guests of the wedding cheer and clap their hands,
so that this moment, this feeling, the summer sun, and the
beat of the ocean may last forever.
Ka’anapali promises eternal happiness to the newly-wed.

Returning guests receive a white bead for each visit.
You may not notice but the pool is in the shape of a whale.
Snorkeling is one of the best ideas you can come
upon in Ka’apanali Hotel. Here you can spend the night in
a heavenly soft bed, have a heavenly morning bath, and a heavenly
breakfast on the terrace, which on top of everything
is situated next to a waterfall.

If Maui was a man he would have had chocolate skin color,
would be wearing a garland and would be
surfing the rough blue waves in the ocean near a garden
of palms, figs and flowers, where four-leafed clovers grow.
He would make beach goddesses breathless.

Sometimes it’s OK to relax in the lounge and say
to yourself: “Life is good!” One of these times is during a sunset
a Ka’anapali hotel, or the movie festival in Maui.
All the movie lovers gather in a golf course which is transformed into
the “Celestial theatre”, they watch movies together,
like in the times the whole neighborhood had one TV.
Even Hollywood stars show up to make the event even more
majestic and appealing, so it’s a really happy getting together.
In late June the best chefs make cooking demonstrations and wine
tasting during Kapalua Wine and Food Festival. Maui is a brilliant place
for rest with multiple attractions and it is certain that your
vacation there will be exotic and pleasing beyond description.
After all, Hawaii are the Wonderland of colors.

Hotels in Istanbul

Istanbul is a wild city, rich in culture, history and night life and the only city in
the world that straddles two continents,
divided in two parts with such contrasting flavor. In Istanbul you
can choose to accommodate yourself in an ex-palace of the Ottoman Empire,
as well as an ex-prison. Istanbul can satisfy
any tasteful or financial preferences. The starred hotels are from the
19th century. Recently, a lot of ancient buildings have been turned into hotels,
which is why they do not provide a lift for example.
They are called “special license hotels” and they also come in all varieties of space,
luxury and price. Their standards are usually high.

  Hotels in Istanbul
Hotels in Istanbul

All hotels in Istanbul are comfortable and affable. Reception usually speaks English.
There is an air of Turkish hospitality unrivaled in the world.
The hotel owners are available for advice and whims, some of them are
archaeologists, some of them guides, all of them –
wells of wisdom on many aspects of the Turkish traditions and Istanbul life.

There are pretty, little hotels in Istanbul , unusual hotels in which
each room has its own atmosphere with unique decor,
and breakfast is served on the terrace with a glorious view.
Jasmine, Honeysuckle and Rose are actually hotel houses, painted with pastel colors,
wherein you are welcome to reside. Decorations like frescoes
and ornate elements are almost always featuring the so-called Turkish blue color,
which is such a good match with any nuance of yellow.
All around the hotels are these friendly, faultlessly costumed men, with their
smiles and willingness to serve the visitors to their best sojourn.
Gem floors welcome your feet, rich arcs adorn the corridors, and red flowers
give their warm welcome at the window panes.
There is a huge fireplace in the restaurant, which serves international. In the
spa center it feels like you are bathing in a sort of Turkish Louvre,
with all this art on the walls and light coming as if from everywhere, while you are
dipping yourself in the warm waters. In the gardens there are bushes
of all sorts, nicely trimmed and well-maintained. The conference
room has painted glass. All around are the traditional
Turkish symbols used in the ornaments on the floor.
Rooms are contemporary and with attractive furniture.

There is a cheep guesthouse, the backpacker’s heaven –
resembling a dormitory full of other tired and
friendly tramps. There is a small welcoming hotel for little girls,
that is designed like a doll’s house with pretty,
Barbie colors and light furniture. There is a hotel in which Empress
Zoe allegedly lived, with a pastoral garden – it contains the
remains of a bath built in the 15th century. Some rooms have balconies with
sea and mosque panoramas. Some are furnished with rich textiles,
carpets and wooden floors. In one of the hotels in Istanbul,
there are great live music shows, exhibitions and recurring tango
evenings – probably the best kept secret in Istanbul.

Istanbul is the ideal place to spoil yourself. It’s subtle as a palace,
frenetic like a lion and heady like red wine.
Many things are pleasant for the soul, but Istanbul pleases it well.

Hotels in Venice

Venice is the world’s most magical and beautiful city.

It’s one of the cities that are beautiful even on a heart-broken,
rainy day when love feels tragic.

Together with Paris, it is probably the most romantic city on Earth.

Venice is an exceptionally expensive city.
It has 200 hotels with various numbers of stars,
and breakfast is almost always included.  However,
basically, you pay through your nose for staying in close to the Piazza.

The hotels in Venice are very friendly, with terraces
at the top rooms looking over the roofs. The lobbies are furnished with
heavily luxurious items: splendid frescos, golden chandeliers,
and golden statuettes. This accent of golden spreads
on the linens, the wall and the window treatments, upon
the carpets, with flower decorations, with huge framed mirrors on the wall.
You can place your hand bag upon the grand piano. There is a bottle
of champagne that is waiting for you dipped in ice.
The wooden frames of the chairs are heavily carved with floral elements.
There are pillows full of soft, bird feather and maids who arrange
the flowers in the vases, fresh from the garden. Heavy curtains are tied with
ropes at the high and bright windows, sheer pink light
comes through. High class, retro pink Cupids are carved in the walls.

In Venice the errand-boy will be kind enough to lend you a hand
as you are getting out of the boat in your sleek,
little, black dress. For the first time in your life, you are looking at
Venice with inquisitive eyes hidden behind fashionable
black glasses. You enter the sumptuous lobby of the hotel and
are stricken with the florid beauty of its columns, the air of impeccable
elegance and artistic architecture with a stress on lighting and coziness.
Although golden is the predominant color – your high heels feel like they are
stepping on the red carpet, rubbing shoulders with celebrities.
The attendants wear the hotel coat-of-arms as a badge
upon their costume. You can call the concierge
with a golden bell at the reception.
There is a high and majestic atrium. Rooms are up to the
mark with their blue-beige nuances that relax and calm down the senses.
A pink, satin, night robe and red lampshade next to the bed
are responsible for your comfort. The restaurants
are busy and lively in the evenings. In the presidential suite there
is a comfy library, adorned with fruit and flowers,
heavy looking-glasses and pictures with golden frames.
The mirror in the bathroom takes the bigger space on the wall.
There is a full set of complimentary white cosmetics.

There are suites of bright, sexy colors – orange, oak,
pomegranate red, small, bright, golden chairs and Persian rugs.
Some of the hotels are furnished like doll houses – many light and
spirit invigorating tiny pieces of luxury, like those
small pillows that adorn the bed. There is an outdoor dining room
on the roof, and a pool with spectacular views.
As Truman Capote put it: “Venice is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs in one go.”
